SYNOPSIS

Set in the starkness of northern Canada in winter, Jeremy (BODHI ELFMAN) travels back to his hometown of Whitehorse, Yukon Territory for the first time in 15 years, having left for greener pastures and never looked back. On assignment to cover an annual festival in town, he trudges his way through his work, expecting to hate every minute of it. However, a brief encounter with his little brother Evan (MARK O'BRIEN), his only living kin in Whitehorse, sets him on a course to discover the true meaning of home.

Shot on location in Whitehorse, Yukon, WHITEHORSE is the collaboration of filmmakers Mu Sun and Bodhi Elfman, who decided to make a movie while on an adventure to see the Aurora Borealis in northern Canada. Produced with no other film crew, they navigated the harsh Yukon weather with little preparation to create an unscripted, documentary-like film about a man rediscovering his home.
